Hi, my name is Belle Tenaglia
My own health brought me to acupuncture. I started massaging the Chinese Meridian pathways when I was sick in my 20s. I could intuitively feel they were holding the patterns affecting my health. I have learned so much since then.
My clinical experience
Acupuncture school is a 3 year full-time master’s program. Acupuncturists can actually practice as primary care providers in some states.
I completed my master’s degree at New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS in Worcester and graduated with a concentration in Japanese Acupuncture. I have also studied orthopedic acupuncture under Dr. Steve Cina and completed internship in the Orthopedic Acupuncture clinic at UMASS Memorial in Worcester. In addition, my experience includes working in a Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation center and the NESA clinic. My studies have covered several lineages of acupuncture, and I am passionate about understanding the details of theory and practice. I have pursued advanced teachings in Classical Chinese texts and the Daoist origins of Chinese medicine as well as Chinese Face reading and the Korean four needle technique.
I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornell University. I love learning especially about ancient philosophies, neuroscience, math and art. Surprisingly everything I was studying in my undergrad prepared me perfectly to understand Chinese Medicine- Ask me about it sometime! In my free time I love singing, dancing, cooking, plants and anything that involves being in nature.

Why Rose Moon
I have always loved roses, and my given name is Rosebelle. In many traditions, the moon represents the feminine energy, softness, the body, and the emotions.
My body and my emotions have been my greatest teachers in this life. It is not always easy to stay gentle in this world. I aspire to bring the softness and gentleness of the moon to my work with clients.
Types of acupuncture I practice
Japanese
A gentler form of acupuncture that uses fewer and smaller needles
Saam Korean Four needle technique
A very direct way of treating the whole person, with four needles.
Chinese
Just plain old traditional Chinese acupuncture as it is used most commonly around the world.
Orthopedic
Acupuncture merged with Western neuro anatomical studies to support the musculoskeletal system for pain management.
The core theories behind these types of acupuncture are the same, and I blend them to provide whatever treatment will work best for you.
